Today is ANZAC day. I am doing lots of homework, well I'm planning to anyway. So far I have made a presentation on how to explain Electromagnetic Radiation to Year 9s and 10s. They better understand it!
I had some really good news the other day. ACC have decided to cover a course of treatment to fix my shoulder and will pay for me to go to a musculo-skeletal specialist to get a report done! Good a. And their reason was that because physio treatment is such a small cost to them, it wasn't going to be worth their time to go through the review process! Excellent. Gotta love that. Becuase it's not a small cost to me!
I found out a v. disturbing grammar fact while I was in a Year 10 social studies class at Wellington Girls'. An apostrophe after someone's name means possession i.e. Adrian's hair means he possesses his hair. So I presumed that 'it's' means that it possesses something e.g. I had a cat and it's fur was black and white [that sounds familiar...]. BUT NO! For years I have held my ground and presumed I was right (bad grammar really irks me) but it's actually means it is! So even though with a person's name an apostrophe s means possession, with the word it it doesn't. Dammit! I was so very disgruntled when I found that out, because I have been unknowingly irking myself this whole time. No more! [I hope that after this rant you guys don't spot too many grammar errors!]
Bean has been naughty lately - we think he is going to other peoples' houses to get food. Whether he steals it or they give it to him we don't know. The former would be the better of the two, since the latter means he is deliberately cheating on us! *GASP* I can't handle that! So we have decided to lock him inside for a while by locking his catflap and forcing him to eat his own food! See, the problem is that Bean has bad gums, so the vet tells us, so we got him expensive Prescription food, and he's not eating it! This morning I mixed it with salmon just so that he would eat it. My god he is spoilt! Cats really do rule humans. Well, Adrian and I anyway.

Here's a pic for you to enjoy. Thanks for all your guestbook signings :)

You know, I really annoys me when people use apostrophes in the wrong place! Especially when they use 's for a plural. IT'S "PHOTOS", NOT "PHOTO'S", people! Gee whizz, I don't know.
Here's a helpful link on the subject:

It should be compulsory reading if you ask me.
Nice 3D adrian by the way, far better than your regular 2D one :)
