And now I can't think of any...
Well, thanks for everybody who's (correct use of apostrophe? I welcome comments) signed our guestbook - esp. Currently Geographically Farthest Away Signee Award goes to (joint) Zac (town-whose-name-I-can't-remember, England) and my Auntie Dee (Surrey, England) - try beat that! Apparently my Mum is in the Seychelles right now which I reckon deserves a spot prize! Wedding plan details have been requested of me so here goes...
I had seen a dressmaker in Newtown (Wgtn) and was v. excited because she said that once their busy season had died off she would make the dress I wanted, and if I didn't like it it didn't matter because she would put it in their shop and someone else would buy it. You can imagine how excited I was! So I had another appt with her a while later, and her personality seemed to have completely changed - she basically told me that she didn't want to make that dress because she couldn't do it exactly as it was in the photo, and told me to ring the shop whose website I got the dress photo from! Wierd a... like, would you rather I give you $2000 or someone else? Completely beyond my comprehension. So, here I was in her shop, ringing her competitor on my cellphone (with her permission, even with her encouragement) and making an appt for the next day! So...
I went to Ruby Bridal which is about 5min drive away and saw Linda who was incredibly helpful. Got to try on dresses for the first time (even though had already had 2 appts at other shop) and found one that I REALLY like... but Linda only had it in 2 sizes too big for me. She currently has the right size (and colour that I want) on order and is going to ring me when it comes in so I can go and make sure it's the one I want! Mum and Dad are visiting in July and I can't wait to take them to the bridal shop so they can see me in my potential dresses (and see the tears from Mum, and possibly/hopefully Dad too???). Exciting!
It's amazing how much faster your fingers go when you've had a lot of sugar and no food for the last 4.5 hours... eep! And the scariest thing is, I want them to go even faster, but they don't seem able to!
So in other wedding plans news... we are about to pay the deposit on honeymoon (did I say that last time? Travel agent will be getting impatient!). Have finalised bridal party - on my side I have my lovely blister Anna and bestest friend Nathan. On Adrian's side he has his lovely blister Josje and his bestest friend Colin. So we are mixing it up a bit and going a bit non-traditional (untraditional?). We have sorted photographer, and hopefully I will get more stuff sorted - florists etc. when I'm up in Hamilton for 5 weeks on my next teaching placement.

It was Anna's birthday yesterday - Happy Birthday! Here's a picture I know she loves but will probably not see because she's so incredibly busy these days. It's also got my cousin Brendon. Was taken way back in 2004 but it's so pretty! (don't you think?)
Idon't know if I believe in pet heaven (or human heaven for that matter) but I just wanted to say something about all the pets who have passed away (many in unfortunate circumstances) because I have been thinking about them a lot lately. So Betsy, Muffin, Ginny (is that how you spell it?), Mitsy, Frankie, Squirrel, Basil, Sally and countless guppies and goldfish and mice - we will not forget you! I hope you all have fond memories of your lovely pets. Here's a pic Basil for you...
Well, I know I still had other stuff to say (and no doubt it was of the wittiest quality) but I can't think of it just now and I need to go make lunch and get some food into me before my fingers get a speeding ticket (or crash and burn - which will it be??).
Love xxx
