Snakes on a plane!

I'm no snake, but I have hijacked this blog!!

I haven't even seen that movie, so whether the above sentence and title line combo even makes sense is questionable, but I don't care.

Also, my technical skills aren't really up to the task of hijacking a blog. I'm actually the man in the photo of Claire's post from a few days ago. She happens to sign in to this computer automatically, so I, err, kinda signed myself up as a co-author. She's on the phone to her Mum at the moment and doesn't know I'm doing this, here's hoping she isn't annoyed at me.


About me. Well, I'm Claire's fiance. I consider this reasonable authority for co-authorship. We share a house, a bank account, a cat (a BEAN!), a bed, and on occasions like this where my computer is turned off, we also share a computer. I'm a bit of a house husband at the moment. My big mission for today was to do the grocery shopping and buy stamps. It should be a temporary situation though, I'll be starting work on my PhD in Electronics in June, sooner if scholarships play along.

So, I just thought I'd make myself known. Hi everyone, and Claire is great! (please don't hurt me...)
