To title or not to title

My Adrian is here! So there.

AND my Mumbly and Dad(bly) are coming today too! I am so lucky, all my lovely people here at once. Luckily I don't have TOOOOO much work to do this weekend, and it's a three day weekend.

Next week on Wednesday is Marcellin Champagnat day at SJC, the celebration day of their founding order. That means, huge school mass in the morning (compulsory for staff?), form room shared lunch (mmm pizza) and then a range of afternoon activities. I'm in the cards group! I re-learnt how to play 500 last night so I will be able to play that with them - if they let me play in their groups. Are teenage boys as welcoming as teenage girls? Lets see...

Adrian says yes, for the same reason they work harder for female teachers as they do for male teachers.

Also, during one of the introductory talks at SJC with the deputy principal he said, "These are Catholic boys... their mothers do everything for them. If you ask why they're not wearing the right trousers, they'll say 'um... cos Mum didn't iron them'". Is this Freudian psychology stuff? More willing to comply with a young female than a male teacher? Interesting. You still have to have that relationship there though, otherwise it will just all go to poos.

So, I'm finally starting to relax and enjoy *gasp* my classes... well actually so far only my Y10 social studies. Y9 maths I'm still not quite sure! They say some pretty funny stuff and I'm pretty sure that working in a boys school would be more fun than in a girls school, just more relaxed.

We played 500 last night with Anna and Karl until 1am! Tee hee, we haven't been up that late for ages.

Love to everyone and remember to sign the guestbook :)
