Tissues are a Girl's Best Friend

I have hay fever. Well, I originally thought it was a cold/ flu thing and had Saturday and half of Sunday off work. Then, yesterday we needed to do stuff in the city so we went to a pharmacy to ask if there was anything eg. Codral that would get me through the day. She said it was probably hayfever instead, from my symptoms, and it all clicked into place. Kind of, well I think it makes more sense that its hayfever instead of cold. eg. Adrian hasn't caught anything; yesterday being outside all day had the very real effect of my nose dribbling literally all day, and sneezing every five minutes or so. Its better today and I'm taking allergy pills but if its not better by tomorrow I'm going to have to go to work and just stay out the back all day. I felt horrible when I woke up this morning but after a little sleep in I feel a lot better than I did yesterday. My lovely brought me fresh home-made soup and toast in bed for breakfast. He's so lovely.

I had a fitting at the dressmakers for my wedding dress - she's doing the alterations and I'm going back next Tuesday for the penultimate fitting (obviously I will have one a week or so before the wedding also). Yay! Its all getting rather exciting now. Only 46 days to go. That is so wierd.

I thought I'd better stop in and say hi but to be honest, I really don't like being in the office in our new house... its the coldest and darkest room in the house and gets only the tiniest bit of sunshine late in the afternoon before it disappears behind the hill for good. So I'm going to go and sit on the deck in the sun and relax... The weather has been absolutely gorgeous lately with temperatures of 20-23 and sun all day :) Makes for a very happy Claire.
