Hello there. First of all... he's back! Blublueublueue (tongue noise).



So I thought I'd drop by and fill you in with some useless information.

I got glasses! Two pairs, in fact. I found that I was squinting quite a lot, particularly at work when using the computers. So I went and had a test, and the optometrist said that I could do with some glasses, though at this stage it would be more for comfort than necessity. We decided to get me some, and half way through choosing a pair of frames Adrian and the sales consultant both informed me that the store actually had a special on where you get 2 pairs of frames and the exam for $299. Awesome... so that cuts the price of the exam by two thirds, and you get two pairs of frames basically for the price of one. Maybe next time, if you're lucky, you will see pics of me in them. Or maybe, just maybe, I'll do it this time. If I remember. Also, I got anti-reflective coating on both pairs. So, $550 later, I was feeling a little guilty and wondering if I'd done the right thing, spending $550 on 'comfort'. Later on in the day, I wondered whether IRL would subsidise them, since I kinda needed them for work. Turns out, they were willing to pay for most! So we got $400 back from them. Cool huh. I thought that was pretty cool. So I got two pairs of glasses and lenses, and anti-reflective coating, for $150. By the way, for those of you in the Wellington region who may need glasses, Torga Optical have really good service. They may be elsewhere too, not sure. [I just tried to add photos but Blogger is being wierd so you will have to wait til next time!]

And on another note, Bean is very cute.
