For the couple of weeks before I was busy planning a surprise party. I'd never done one or even been to one before so it was pretty fun trying to figure it all out! (thanks to Colin for the idea of blindfolding Adrian and taking him for a trip round Lower Hutt and back to our house - though I made him a bit car sick!).
I made Pin the Tail on the Nano-mouse for the first party game. Bex won! But then I realised I didn't have any prizes! :(
Then we played some home-made charades that I made up; Adrian kicked it off (haha that WAS actually an unintended pun) by pulling "David Beckham in jeans that are much too tight" out of the bag.

Incidentally I wanted to add this pic of Armi because she looks just so... I can't think of a word... just wrong.
Now I want to see if this lets me upload a video: Well it wouldn't let me do the one I wanted, because it was too big (172 Mb and needs to be 100 Mb or less - how do I do that?).
Also, you might have seen a new element added to the side of our page -------->
I signed Adrian and I up to be part of an IRL team to do the Around the Mountain Relay in November (perhaps foolishly - we'll see!). Just click on the SPCA logo if you want to support our team and the SPCA! Thanks!
Bye for now!

PS> Bean update! He is wobbling around the lounge quite happily now. The cage we had on loan from the vet has gone back, and now we close him in the lounge when we're not here/ at night instead of the cage. I think he's a lot happier now he's not in the cage anymore - he can move around the room to find the sun! He goes up and down the stairs and stuff too, though I'm not sure he's meant to...
