I am a pirate
yes, I am
my name is Alejandro Samuel Cortez (the fourteenth)
but you can call me Sam

I live on the sea

I have one peg leg
and one right hook
but unlike the common misconception of the parrot
I own a hungry rook

his name is Miguel

Miguel sits on my shoulder:
the left one
because on my right I keep a canister of my favourite drink
a pirate likes his rum

every so often

I met a lovely lady
on the shore one day
her name was Maria Anita Reina Jiminez Garcia
but I called her Rey

she was a barmaid

She made me some rum
to put in my belly
then she asked me, "Sam, are you a handypirate around the house?
I need someone to fix my telly."

I replied yes.

A pirate's life out on the sea

we have four children: Carlo, Marco, Melita and Raul
and another on the way
