dammit - a short and random post

While browsing on Stuff, which has become one of my time-fillers of late, I saw this.

"..there's a possibility that the more bored you are, the more likely you are to die early."

I think this is the most important bit:

"Someone who is bored may not be motivated to eat well, exercise, and have a heart-healthy lifestyle. That may make them more likely to have a cardiovascular event."

Yeah, that makes sense. The article says also, only the 'chronically bored' people should be worried. Am I chronically bored?

Also, this article kind of sums up our justice system really. Doesn't it make you proud, New Zealanders?

And on that note, in this story there are a few different things to comment about. Like:
  • is a 15-year sentence long enough for a double rape?
  • when repeat offenders are released back into the community, should there be some kind of protocol for safe release?
  • where do you put offenders once they are released?
Also, do you know how CRAP IT MAKES ME FEEL WHEN YOU INTERRUPT ME?

Sorry, little rage there.

And, since I'm feeling a little uninspired today, the best thing of my Internet day I could come up with was this failblog pic.

Though, it did make me LOL.
