I think this is the most important bit:
"Someone who is bored may not be motivated to eat well, exercise, and have a heart-healthy lifestyle. That may make them more likely to have a cardiovascular event."
Yeah, that makes sense. The article says also, only the 'chronically bored' people should be worried. Am I chronically bored?
Also, this article kind of sums up our justice system really. Doesn't it make you proud, New Zealanders?
And on that note, in this story there are a few different things to comment about. Like:
- is a 15-year sentence long enough for a double rape?
- when repeat offenders are released back into the community, should there be some kind of protocol for safe release?
- where do you put offenders once they are released?
Sorry, little rage there.
And, since I'm feeling a little uninspired today, the best thing of my Internet day I could come up with was this failblog pic.
