Hello. Some people seem to think it was me who wrote the poems I posted here a while ago... it was not. Hence the 'by' lines underneath each title.
Now that's cleared up... most of you will know that Adrian had his oral exam for his PhD on Tuesday. And passed with flying colours! The examiners thought his thesis was amazing and had not read one like it in a while. They did not have any recommendations for additional (pre-graduation) work, which they usually do. The only things he had to change were a handful of aesthetic things like formatting and spelling errors. I was annoyed because that was my domain! But to be fair I did the majority of the document awesomely and the comment was made that in fact the proof-reading errors were very scarce. Yay! It is such a good feeling for us because Adrian (and me, to a certain extent) put so much time and work into making it right, and it paid off. So right now it is at the bookbinders and should be ready next week. Then on 17th of May is graduation in Wellington.
