As I am writing these blogs, my guide is a brief list of things I wrote to help me remember what we did on each day. I cracked up at today's:
"Breakfast &coffee
Wine tasting
nap
Lunch
Bingo
Dinner
Marguerita"
Hahaha! This is what I mean by relaxing!
The wine tasting was pretty good, we had sparkling white (yum), Chardonnay (bluergh, they never beat Sav in my opinion), Dusky Sound Sav from Marlborough (the best of course!), muscat (yum) Shiraz and tempranillo (reds are mostly lost on me but not as much as Chardonnays!).
Other than that, as you can see, we didn't do much on Saturday!
We are noticing that Australians are quite annoying. When we tell people we went on the Hawaiian and Bahamian cruises, some people say "oh god, how could you stand all those yanks!?". I never understood the question because although Americans tend to be loud, they don't bother me. I quite like the accents, and overall they are friendly. But Australians, they are loud and obnoxious, moaning and rude. And there's lots of smokers. Don't get me started on the some of the accents and the laughs! I know I'm stereotyping, especially since 'cruising' Australians are a specific subset. But they are grating on me MUCH more than Americans.
But some of them are nice. Or just more quiet.
