I was just reading about sharks in a National Geograpic... did you know that you can turn a baby lemon shark upside down and it goes into a still, dreamlike trance called tonic immobility? I thought that was quite interesting...
Also, I had my second day at my Zoo job today, and a 5 year old girl hugged my arm and told me she loved me! Sooo cute. And somewhat awkward... But mostly cute!
I have tomorrow off because they aren't expecting many kidlets. I will be working on my Portfolio for my second teaching placement which went from 5th March to 5th April, at Wellington Girls' College. Got a couple of extra things to do and then will go and hand it in! I'm enjoying this Easter "I'm not doing anything at all" mood and not really looking forward to going back to uni! But o well... will be finished in July!
We bought the game Balderdash the other day... does anyone know it? It's really funny. Hence:
"Snood: a word officially accepted by the Oxford dictionary as the Scottish pronunciation of 'snowed'."
Hope everyone is well and happy :)
Love xxx
PS> I found this mouse *OK, Bean did* in our garden and saved him! But had to take a photo first. Isn't he gorgeous?
