First Post for 2008

It's 2008! Who would have thought. A year and a quarter ago when an amazingly lovely gentleman proposed to me, now seemed like forever away. Only 10 more sleeps until our Day, and 11 sleeps until I wake up with a different name for the first time in my life.

I only have 1 more day of work left... then up to Hamilton on the 4th for Hen and Stag nights on the 5th (Saturday) then I'm going to go home with my Mummy and Daddy for a few days before I officially stop being a Vanstone. (I'll never stop being a Vanstone... even in a few years when I've gotten used to being a Jongenelen, I'll still be a Vanstone). Then on Thursday the 10th we will make our way back to Hamilton, rehearsal on Friday afternoon and then the real thing on the 12th!

So, especially now that I only have one day of work left... the excitement is hitting me (somewhat physically I think, too; although I did have a V today). We have planned some shore excursions for our honeymoon - Big Island Spectacular which includes a 1 and 3/4 hour helicopter ride over the volcanoes (O God, that makes me excited), Kilauea Lava Viewing Hike (ooo gooey, hot lava) and Haleakala Bicycling at Sunrise (obviously originally this was Adrian's idea as it involves getting up at about 2.30am for a 3.15am start, but I was won over by the potential romance of it all).

I'm soooo looking forward to seeing all my family and friends together - just about all of the Vanstone side of the family will be there and a lot of Adrian's side too. It's going to be more like a big family reunion :)

If you don't hear from us, I'm sure you'll understand why ;)

Love to everyone xxx
