My name is Bean, and I love my Mum and Dad very much, and they love me very much too.
I'm writing this to you from hospital (on my iPhone), because on Thursday last week I got hit by a 4WD on the road outside my house in Lower Hutt. The b***ard hurt me pretty bad, and my Mum and Dad and the doctors don't know if I'll be able to come home at all. I have a dislocated hip, broken pelvis, and nerve damage. They give me painkillers, and this morning I ate some tuna all by myself. I like it when Mum and Dad come to visit cos they pat me and kiss me and I purr. If I don't get worse, I might be able to go home.
I really really want to go home, so I can cuddle with Mum and Dad again, and wake them up for breakfast at 6 am (they say they miss it!) and go back to annoying my little sister Armi by pouncing on her. Mum and Dad really want me to come home too, I can tell because Mum cries heaps when the doctors talk to her, and I even saw Dad cry a bit too. I'm sure Armi misses me too even though she wouldn't admit it. I wanted to send you this email for Mum to put on the blog so you can send your good wishes my way and hope that I can go home.

O Lordy, I am glad I didn't read that before bed last night. Have tears in my eyes. Bean is strong and will hopefully recover from this horrible accident. I know the vets will be doing thier very best. Home soon Bean. xxxxxx
