After we arrived in Sydney we took the (horrible smelling like wees) train to Wynyard station which was near our hotel (Medina Grand Harbourside). We left our bags there; since it was only about 12.30pm we couldn't check in yet.
Activities in Darling Harbour were as follows:
Lunch at Blackbird on Cockle Bay Wharf (yum)
Loop on the monorail
Famous Sydney aquarium. Highlights were the platypus (so deceptivelt cuddle-worthy), dugongs and shark tank.
Noisy nap in our hotel while the room next door was being cleaned. I was still pretty sick at this stage!
Walk to Sydney Tower (observation deck similar to Sky Tower but higher)
Stop off at Darrell Lea chocolate shop!
Dinner at "Baia the Italian" on Cockle Bay Wharf again
An EXCELLENT sleep.
