The first thing we noticed after getting past the pier was the Vanuatuans' support for the All Blacks! It was so cool, NZ/silver fern/ABs flags and t-shirts EVERYWHERE!
We went on our pre-booked horse riding tour. After a bus ride there we were assigned horses (mine was Kel and Adrian's was Charlie) and started off. It was pretty warm so glad we did the earliest tour (8.30am start from pier). The walk was about 40 minutes I think, around a 'plantation' (basically a farm? Now that I think of it there wasn't really any commentary on the ride). Had some pretty good views, saw some meaty looking freaky spiders (huntsmans I think, but bigger than in NZ). The ride included a steep bush track which was cool because I've never done that. Afterwards they unsaddled the horses and we got to take them for a 'swim' bareback. Luckily Kel was happy standing up to his belly because I saw jellyfish and didn't want to put my feet or legs in the water. Apparently they were harmless ones but still icky. Adrian's horse Charlie did a poo in the water tee hee ;)
We came back to the boat and had a shower and lunch, then went back onshore and got a 'bus' (people mover) into Port Vila. It was pretty hot and sunny (28 maybe, though I think I heard later it was 30) and we didn't do much; got dropped at one end of town, and a couple of cocktails and some souvenirs later were back at the other end.
After a short dip in the pool on deck 12 and some more washing (luckily it dries quickly in our room!) we played trivia again. And came first! That was because we adopted a guy who was alone and he knew 3 sports questions we would not have got!
After that the plan was dinner and the Pirates show that was on in the theatre but I was not feeling very well at all. I had a really bad headache and was quite nauseous, I think I might have had heatstroke? The cocktails probably didn't help but I had been drinking lots of water to try and avoid dehydration. Anyway I ended up sleeping from about 7 onwards. Adrian went to get buffet dinner alone and bought me some panadol for my head. After that I felt a lot better but still sleepy, and this morning I was fine.

Sounds as though you are having a great cruise, very relaxing and enjoyable, ( apart from those Aussies!!).
